Developed by Zartner Technology, Trexscan runs as a web-based and mobile application that enables employees to clock in and out using a mobile biometric scanner connected to any Android device.
With live data sync and a seamless post sheet data, companies can manage critical payroll-related functions through Trexscan’s payroll partners. The unified solution removes complex and inaccurate manual processing, lightens the administrative burden and reduces operating costs.
Trexscan has been created to cater for small to medium-sized businesses, which will allow them to utilise technology similar to that being used by their larger counterparts – but with a friendlier budget.
“Our main aims of developing Trexscan were to make sure that employees work scheduled time, come on time and do not leave early, and to calculate total working hours including overtime, and to enable companies to execute their payroll using Trexscan,” says Larry Kgatle, Trexscan communications manager.
Trexscan consists of a set of portals that are designed to provide clients with enhanced features. These include the Employee portal which allows employees to log in and access the schedules, payslips and their post sheets.
For added flexibility, the mobile application will be used by supervisors to enrol employees’ fingerprints, and view employees’ schedules and post sheets. With the same mobile application, enrolled employees will be able to clock in and out.
“Clients will be afforded an opportunity to eradicate time-consuming operations,” Kgatle observes.
